Melanie Ann Caldwell, 55, of Bidwell, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Holzer Medical Center.
She was born on November 16, 1957 in Jackson County, Ohio, daughter of the late Orlyn and Mildred Wells Gregory. She married Randy Caldwell and he survives her. Melanie attended Buckeye Hills Career Center and graduated from Hocking Technical College. She was a registered nurse, a member of First Church of God and enjoyed her family.
Surviving are her husband, Randy Caldwell of Bidwell; two sons, Michael (Wendy Rex-Black) Black of Columbus and Andrew Neal of Arizona; twin granddaughters, Amelia and Madison Black and a grandson, Zachary Black; one sister, Rachel Baltis of Pine City, Minnesota; two brothers, James Hayes and Lariad Gregory, both of Wellston; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marion and Carolyn Caldwell of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Jean “Sis” Sandlin of Rodney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven Gregory and Samuel Gregory.
