Leon G. (Butch) Danflous, age 70, of Oak Hill passed away on Friday, August 2. He was born on May 23, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William Danflous and Lucille (Williams)Danflous. He was a self-employed painter and carpenter.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Lucille (Williams) Danflous and his father William Danflous.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by sons Rick (Karen) Clay of Marion, Ohio, Leon (Liz) Clay Jr. of Thurman, Ohio, Chris (Amanda) McFann of Oak Hill, Ohio, Brian Starr of Columbus, Ohio and two daughters, Sandra (Barry) Sexton of Franklin Furnace, Paulette Clay of Marion, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends; life partner Mary E. McFann; three brothers Richard (Donna) Caldwell, Groveport, Ohio, Larry (Irene) Danflous, Johnstown, Ohio, John (Becky) Danflous, Columbus, Ohio; and one sister Cheryl McCain, Columbus, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 6, at 1 p.m. at the Lewis-Gillum funeral home in Oak Hill with Rev. James Keller and Rev. Cline Rawlins officiating. Burial will follow at C.M. Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday August 5, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
