Rosemary Janey, 70, of Wellston, passed from this life Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at her home. The daughter of the late James and Nadine Ogle Holtz, she was born January 5, 1943, at Wellston. Rosemary retired after 33 years of friendly service at the Wellston Kroger store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellston.
She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Janey; her son, Jeremy of Ray; daughter, Missy (Chris) Brenner of Wellston; and grandchildren, Matthew W. Cooper and Amanda Williams. Rosemary is also survived by her brothers, James (Pam) of Hamden and Mike (Connie) of Wellston; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Greg Cooper; and her sister, Kathi Hively.
Friends and family will gather Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 p.m. with Pastor David McManis officiating and burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
