Jimmy Dewayne Jagers, age 52, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at his residence. He was born September 28, 1959 in Buras, Louisiana, the son of the late Willis Jagers and Alma Corkern. Jimmy was a former truck driver and he attended The Church of God in Wellston.
He is survived by his wife, Joey M. Rose Jagers; son and daughter-in-law, Buddy M. and Sandra Jagers of Louisiana; daughter, Lacy Grant of Wellston; grandchildren, Brendan, Preston and Destiny Jagers and Rylan Jake Young; sisters, Amanda Gail Bryum (Scott) of Arkansas and Stacey McDonald of Louisiana; brothers, Bobby Jagers and Harold “Skeet” Anderson, both of Louisiana; father-in-law, Garry Rose of Wellston; sister-in-law, Jerry Foster (fiancé, Tommy Meacham) of Wellston; niece, Amanda Moore; great-niece, Lexie Adkins, and his companion dog, Buddy.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mildred Rose.
At Jimmy’s request, his body was cremated and there will be no services.
