Charles E. Coon, age 71 of Jackson, passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 27, 2016. He was born on August 14, 1945 in Jackson County, West Virginia to the late Darrel and Eudora (Southall) Coon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn (Ramsey) Coon; sons: Kenneth (Shelley) Coon, Charles (Permelia) Coon and Jason Coon; brothers: Eugene, Eathel and Max Coon; and sisters: Darlene Taylor, Arlene Casto and Lurene Dillard. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
“He will be missed by his family, but he is in a way better place now”.
Charles was a tow-motor operator for Goodyear in Jackson for many years. He loved making things and working with his hands.
No services will be held. Per his request, his body was cremated.
