Brenda Denney Whiting, age 52, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born November 17, 1963 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Jerry W. Denney and Judy D. Daily Denney.
Brenda was a 1982 graduate of Wellston High School and a former home health aide for Family Senior Care. Brenda had a big heart and was always willing to give to and help others.
She is survived by her mother, Judy Denney of Wellston; father, Jerry Denney of Wellston; children, Rachel Fultz Carter (Joshua) of Wellston; Dusty Fultz (April) of Wellston; Destiny Whiting of Wellston; grandchildren, Skyleigh and Tenley Carter and Talan and Kensley Fultz; brothers, Jeff Denney (Janetta) of Wellston, Tom Denney (Jackie) of Wellston, George Denney of Wellston and Darrell Denney of Jackson, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Whiting; and brothers, Mark Dakote and Jerry Denney, Jr.
It was Brenda’s wishes to be cremated. A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with Pastor James Snyder officiating.
