Mollie Mae (Nichols) Welch, age 96, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 28th, 2016 at Heartland of Jackson. She was born September 16th, 1919 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Robert and Rhoda (Brown) Nichols.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Linda) Welch of Jackson, Ohio and Donald L. (Vickie) Welch of Gallia, Ohio; grandchildren: Gene Ann (Hubert) Davis, Tammy (Mike) French, Heather (Brad) Zornes, Donald Welch, and Wesley Welch; great-grandchildren: Katie (Brandon) House, Bradley (Kirstin) Davis, Levi Davis, Mikka French (Kyle Wells), Alyssa and Drew Zornes, Cody, Landon, Larissa, Makyll, Melissa, Gage, Bentley, and Gavin; great-great granddaughter, Hadly House; daughter-in-law, Beulah Welch; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Henry Welch; and children, Myron Edward Welch and Eugene Welch.
Mollie was loved by all and was a very outspoken person.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 from 10-11am at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill.
