Ronda Lee (Leach) Miller, age 74, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer. She was born April 18, 1943 to the late Harold Leach and Beatrice (Sayer) Leach.
Ronda was employed by Jackson City Schools and also worked as an EMT for many years. She was a longtime member of Calvary United Methodist Church and served as treasurer, was a member of the choir, and played the piano and organ for the church for many years.
She is survived by her two sons: Steven Douglas Miller and Rodney Miller (Tricia Kight); four grandchildren: Cassie and Sara Miller and Danielle Miller and Zach Miller, as well as their mother, Tammi Miller; several great-grandchildren; two brothers: Timothy (Charlene) Leach and Samuel (Ruth) Leach; numerous nieces and nephews; and her lifelong best friend, Claire Ann Phipps who barely left her side during her illness.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Gary Miller.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
