Paul, James and Elizabeth Moore

Paul Moore, age 40, of Jackson and children, James Moore, age 12 and Elizabeth “Libby” Moore, age 9, passed away on Nov. 26, 2017.

Paul was born to Roger Homer Moore and Lora Edna Moore on Nov. 22, 1977. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoy the open feel of the land.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Roger Homer Moore; an infant sister and a nephew, Cody James Bocook. Paul is survived by mother, Lora Edna Moore; daughter, Lora Ann Moore; sisters: Connie (Joe) Sickles, Angela Rieder (Tommy), Bonnie Moore, Nancy Moore, Lorena (Danny) Clendenin, Martha (Jason) Kerns; aunt, Alisha Deadman; brothers: Roger Moore and William Moore; and 19 nieces and nephews, also, 15 great-nieces and great-nephews.

James and Elizabeth “Libby” Moore left earth to meet their grandfather, Roger Moore in heaven. James who just turned 12 the middle of November was in the 5th grade at Oak Hill Elementary School. Just like his father he also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and sports. Elizabeth “Libby”, 9 years old, was in the 3rd grade at Oak Hill Elementary School. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, coloring and reading to their grandmother.

They leave behind their beloved grandmother, Sandra Deadman; an older sister, Lora Ann Moore; several aunts, uncles and cousins. They were preceded in death by great-grandparents, Alfred “Elf” and Annette Holloway.

Friends will be received at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Joe Sickles officiating; burial to follow at Bethel Ridge Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
