Michael Ray Euton

Michael Ray Euton, age 54, of Jackson, went home to be with the Lord, his mother and brother on September 12, 2012. Mike was surrounded by his family whom he loved unconditionally.

Mike was born June 10, 1958 to Harold “Red” and the late Irene (France) Euton. Mike enlisted in the United States Army. He completed boot camp at Fort Leonardwood. The Euton family owned the Maytag store in Jackson where he worked on and repaired many appliances for the community. Mike was formerly employed through the Ohio Operating Engineers, where he worked for several companies throughout the State of Ohio. Mike enjoyed operating heavy equipment. Mike was a member of the Jackson Jaycees, The American Legion, The Elks, the Ohio Operating Engineers and a veteran of the United States Army.

Mike was a jack of all trades. He could do any type of home construction and electrical work. Mike built his current home with his father, brother and son, Justin.

Mike had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was active through his clubs trying to improve his community. Mike loved his family, especially enjoying his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed golfing, Nascar and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Mike is survived by his father, Harold “Red” (Jean) Euton of Jackson; one brother, Troy (Kim) Euton and one sister, Beau Euton both of Delaware, Ohio; his children, Michael (Bridget) Euton Jr., Justin (Jamie) Euton both of Jackson; Alisha (L.J.) McKenzie of Hamden, Tabitha (Jeremy) Kitchen of Jackson; his beloved grandbabies, Jessica McBee, Michael Gordon, Alexis Trisch, and Harper Euton all of Jackson; Decota McKenzie, and Jaxon Coffey both of Hamden; Connor Bentley, Madison Stepp and Jacob Stepp all of Jackson. Mike also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Mike will be missed by all.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday September 16, 2012 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson with Rev. Terry Cavanaugh officiating and burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday September 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
