Mark Allen Rose, age 52, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born April 10, 1960 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Leroy (Bud) and Opal Mae (Patty) Rose. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Rose.
Mark was employed at General Mills in Wellston, Ohio for over 20 years and Jackson Corporation in Jackson for over 10 years. He was a 1978 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He was a huge Ohio State Football fan and loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cathy Ann (Batey) Rose; sister, Pamela Sue (Susie) and David Barnhart; brother, Jerry Dale and Kristi Rose and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and co-workers that loved him.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson with Rev. Herman Stewart officiating and burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
