Emma L. (Strange) Miller, age 80, of Jackson, Ohio and formerly of Ironton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 23rd, 1935 to the late Robert and Winnie (Mullins) Strange.
She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Chillicothe.
She is survived by her children: Mary (Jim) Kirkpatrick, Azalie (Eddie) Thompson, Sue (Dick) Brown, Arlene (Albert) McDonie, Kathy (Jim) Porter, and Berie Miller Jr. (Ronda); twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Clyde J. Potter; second husband, Berie Miller; grandson, Randy Harper; one infant grandchild; one infant great-grandchild; and thirteen brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 12th, 2016 from 4-8pm at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at 1pm at the funeral home under the direction of Pastor Ryan Bevan. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
