Betty Ruth Tomblin, age 83, of Jackson, Ohio passed away. She was born February 8th, 1932 in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Jim and Molley Ramey.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Walter Glen Tomblin Sr.; children: Loretta and Jerry Scott of Beaver, Ohio, Brookie and John Varney of Jackson, Ohio, Walter Glen Jr. of Beaver, Ohio, Delilah Kelly and Mark of Jackson, Ohio, David and Barbara Tomblin of Orville, Ohio, and Willis Ray Tomblin and Marsha of Jackson, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one expected great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Jay Ramey of Wayne County, West Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers: Raymond, Garland, Shelton, Ray, Dencil, Golden, and Millard; seven sisters: Brookie Conley, Ruby Tomblin, Cindy Watts, Dicie Napier, Martha Adkins, Julia Ramey, and Mary Jane Maynard; and a daughter-in-law, Mary “Mill” Tomlin.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 31st, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Paul’s Chapel Church under the direction of Elder Rex Maynard and Elder Ray Williamson.
