Benjamin “Benji” Scott Snyder, age 15, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 10, 2017. He was born in Gallipolis, Ohio on July 5, 2001 to Annetta Snyder and the late Scott Eugene Snyder.
He is survived by his mother, Annetta Snyder (Earl Writesel); siblings: Andrea Jade Snyder, Keith “Brice” Alan Fitzpatrick III, Raven Kae Fitzpatrick, and Draedyn Love Writesel; maternal grandfather, Robert Ervin; paternal grandfather, Timothy Scott Snyder; grandmother, Mary Alice Foster; three aunts, Amber (Jon) Wilson, April Ervin (Lee Chatt), and Brittany Foster; one uncle, Ian Ervin (Diana Kiser); as well as numerous cousins and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ervin; and paternal grandmother, Roberta Snyder.
Benjamin loved riding his bike and spending time with his family and friends. He could always make you smile, and those he left behind will miss him dearly.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Rozewicz officiating. Burial will follow in Vega Cemetery in Thurman, Ohio.
