Alice Tuttle Argo

Alice Tuttle Argo, age 72, of Loudon, TN and formerly of Jackson, OH, passed away on March 2, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gary Argo; son, Christopher; grandchildren, Rylan and Trent Argo; mother of her grandchildren, Laurie Argo all of Sugar Land, TX; sister, Jane (Jack) Kidd of Long Boat Key, FL; as well as many other relatives including nephew, Larry (Cindy) Kidd and their children, Carly and Alex of Jackson.

Alice graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN in 1965 with a degree in chemistry. While living in Jackson, she worked as a chemist at Ohio Precious Metals but is perhaps better known as chairman of the Foothills Arts Festival for many years.

Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cleves, OH, and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Community Church at Tellico Village on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southern Hills Arts Council or to your church or favorite charity.
