Teresa Marian Cooper

Teresa Marian Cooper peacefully passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on February 29, 2016. Marian was born on Easter Sunday, March 25, 1951 to Herman and Joyce Stiles of Jackson, OH. She attended Kinnison Elementary School and graduated from Jackson High School in 1969.

Marian married William Lee Cooper on December 22, 1968. Soon after her high school graduation, they moved to Westerville, OH where they spent many wonderful years. They welcomed their children, Christopher Lee and Kimberly Joyce and were blessed with five grandchildren.

For many years Marian worked and managed several area McDonald’s restaurants. She made many friends working there including her longtime best friend, Kim Davis. Marian and Bill are members of the Genoa Baptist Church in Galena, OH.

Nothing made Marian happier than watching her grandsons, Andrew, Alex and Austin Cooper playing sports, especially soccer. Her trips to California to visit Kim and grandchildren Kyli and Anthony Stanley were always a joy to her as well. She was a wonderful grandmother.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving and sadly missing Marian are her husband Bill, son Chris (Jennifer), daughter Kim and sister Randi (Kenneth) Midkiff. Additionally she will be sadly missed by her four grandsons, one granddaughter, aunts and uncles, cousins, two sisters-in-law and their spouses, and her loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and by her devoted puppy Hermy.

Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. The funeral service will be held there at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Wayne Booth will be officiating and interment will be at Blendon Central Cemetery.

At Marian’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
