Janetta Ruth Delaney, age 94, of Oak Hill, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Heartland of Jackson. She was born August 22, 1918 in Oak Hill to the late Jacob and Allie (Leonard) Snyder.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Stanley) Johnson, Kay (Harley) Johnson, Lonnie (Debra) Delaney, Steve (Debra) Delaney and Michael Delaney; daughter-in-law, Judy Delaney all of Oak Hill; brother, Edgar (Nancy) Snyder, of Kalkaska MI. Also survivng are nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and relatives.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Delaney; son, Dale Delaney; grandsons, Steven and Adam Delaney and Dean Johnson; brother, Dick; sisters, Aundie, Nell, Mable, Helen, Tean and Dorothy.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery.
