She was born to the late Wetzel and Fannie Kitchen, October 3, 1943, in Stirrat, West Virginia. Carolyn graduated from Logan High School in 1961, where she met William Bowling, who became her devoted husband for more than 60 years. During that time, they lived in West Virginia and Kentucky before relocating to Jackson, Ohio in 1995, when they took ownership of Giovanni’s of Jackson for 16 years.

In her early years, she was an excellent bowler and once held a Kentucky state title. She loved her family and friends, shoes, jewelry, fried chicken and trips to the casino. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts!
