Bobby Lambert

Bobby Leroy Lambert, age 64, of Oak Hill passed away February 25, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus. He was born April 22, 1957, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Lonnie Davis Lambert and Mabel Louise (Jaynes) Lambert.

He is survived by his children: Tuesdey Marie (Pedro) Santiago, Ethen Edward Lambert, Layla Leann Bryant and Jeremy Davis (Kaylyn) Lambert; grandchildren: Mark, Analena, Lorenzo, Milani, Micheal, Leyanna, Kailee, Marissa, Kayla, Ethen Jr., Elizabeth and Jeremiah. Also surviving is one great grandchild, Elliott; his sister, Lonna Hutchinson; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his siblings: Carolyn Oliver and Dianna Gallimore. 

Bobby loved gardening, a good Browns game and relaxing by the fire with his dog Scrappy. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Navy, running a supply store on a ship. After the Navy, he moved his children around to find a better life, settling for New Haven, Connecticut and working for Stop N Shop for 20 years. After retiring, he moved back to Ohio to be with family and friends. He was a very hard worker, and he enjoyed life, especially with a cigarette and good friends. 

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the CM Cemetery in Oak Hill with Pastor Bill Zink officiating. Military honors will follow at the graveside. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
