Sharlene “Kay Kay” Steele, age 60, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, February 21st, 2022. She was born October 5th, 1961, in Gallipolis, Ohio to Alma (Blankenship) Fultz and the late Lonnie Fultz.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Willie Steele Jr.; daughter, Crystal Lynn Steele; son, Dakota Steele; niece, Patricia Nickles; sister, Rhonda (Doug) Nickles; brother, Dean (Diane) Fultz; two nephews: Scott and Josh Fultz; niece, Brandi Nickles; and special friends and co-workers, Penny, Shirley and Katie.
Sharlene was a graduate of Oak Hill High School. She obtained her nursing degree via the last graduating class of the Holzer Nursing Program at Holzer Medical Center. She was a RN at Holzer Hospital of Jackson, working as a charge nurse. She was a very caring and devoted nurse.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 28th, 2022, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with burial after at Greenlawn Cemetery in Coalton. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
