Marilyn Jindra

Marilyn Ann Jindra, age 90, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. She was born August 5, 1931, in Jackson, Ohio, the daughter of Carl H. and Ida Mae (Stewart) Karr. Marilyn was a 1949 graduate of Jackson High School. She retired as manager of the City of Jackson Utility Department after many years of service. She was a lifetime member of Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson. Marilyn enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her family. She spent many hours crafting and attending craft shows to sell her handmade items.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Louis Jindra; her brothers: Wendell and Wayne Karr; and sister, Gloria Karr Stiles; and a daughter, Marsha Diane. She is survived by children: Dan Nelson, Susan Nelson Ridge and Kevin (Lisa) Nelson; grandchildren: Kayla (Dylan) Callahan, Meredith (Mitch) Kneeskern, Payton Nelson and Tyler Nelson; as well as great granddaughters: Cameron Callahan and Emily Kneeskern; and many nieces and nephews.
