Pamela Joy Henderson, 65 of Jackson, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born May 4, 1956, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Albert and still living Nancy Katherine (Gilliland) Pierce.
Pamela was a loving, generous person who enjoyed reading books, playing games on her Kindle and playing bingo. Most importantly, she loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren. Being recently saved, she is now in Heaven with Jesus watching over everyone she loved.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy Katherine Pierce; husband, Roger Dale Henderson; son, Joshua Dale Henderson; daughter, Nicole Marie Henderson; sisters, Beth Mullins and Nessa Lambert; brother, Timmy (Mary) Pierce; and grandchildren, Riley Cole Jackson, Eli Burd, Darius Burd, Anysia Ruff, Tytis Ruff and Journey Ruff. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Maywood Pierce; son, Aaron Scott Henderson; grandparents, Oliver and Eloise Pierce, and Calvin and Elizabeth Boswell; brother, Jimmy Pierce; sister in-law, Sheila Pierce; nieces, Kelli Lambert and Millie Pierce; as well as aunt, Ellen Applegate.
Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson. Private graveside services will be held by the family.
