Carol Jean (Ross) Sears, age 81, of Jackson, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 26th, 2021. Carol was born July 5th, 1940, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Elba Ross, former Chief of Police of Jackson and Geraldine Ross.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Sullivan and granddaughter, Becky (Andrew) Sheldon all of Rochester, New York. She is also survived by her siblings: Earl Ross, Thelma Harper, Paul Ross and Nancy Ross.
Carol was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Jackson, enjoyed her Literary Club and loved giving and helping others. She loved watching Ohio State football and golf.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 150 Portsmouth Street in Jackson. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
