Linda Dulaney

Linda Sue Dulaney, aged 76, passed away peacefully in her home in Parkersburg, West Virginia on Tuesday, Aug. 31. Linda was born September 15, 1944, in Jackson, Ohio as the youngest child of Frances & Jane Simpson.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: James Simpson, Dorothy Rose, John Simpson, Mary Scott, Howard Simpson, Ester Boyd, Paul Simpson, Everett Simpson and Walter Simpson.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jerry L. Dulaney; children: Teresa Dulaney, Jerry Dulaney, Trina Dulaney, Jeffery Dulaney, and Barbara Paul (daughter-in-law); grandchildren: Zachary Dulaney, Aiden Dulaney, and Quentin Dulaney; and a brother, Amos Simpson.

Linda was a lifelong homemaker who went out of her way to make everyone feel like family. She will be dearly missed by not only her family, but the many others who viewed her as their honorary mother as well.

Funeral services will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m., with Michael Simpson officiating. The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
