Earl Gould, Sr.

Earl Edward Gould Sr., age 68, of Coalton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, at Holzer of Jackson. He was born November 3, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio to Dorsie (Blevins) Bragg and the late Earl H. Gould.

 He is survived by girlfriend, Mary Owings; children: Lisa (Jimmy) Lykins, Eddie (Shannon) Gould Jr., Bryan Gould, Christin “Nikki” (Gould) Sharp, and Sarah Fultz; stepchildren: Michael Snyder, Jason Snyder, Tommy Duncan, Ron Duncan, and Kim Yates; grandchildren: Derek, Dusty, Devin, Casey, Zachary, Rylee, Nehemiah, Shayla, Mariah, and Jayden; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sisters: Joyce (Gould) Cassidy, Gay (Mike) Gilliland, Erline (Jeff) Page, Martha Burris, and Vickie Adkins; special friends: Jimmy Cremeans, Gary Lee Hubbard, Roger Waugh, and Chuck Hood; as well as several  nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Sharon (Gould) Hood and stepdad, Lewis “George” Bragg.

 Earl was an avid guitar player, who loved to read the Bible and pray. He loved talking about his kids and grandkids and was known for making everyone laugh and feel better and always being available to help others out.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Chuck Hood officiating.
