Nancy Lee Evans

Nancy Lee Evans, age 81, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 at Holzer Medical Center of Gallipolis.  She was born Jan. 4, 1939 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late David and Garnet W. Davis Allen.

She was a 1957 graduate of Oak Hill High School and was a member of the National Honor Society.  She worked at the Oak Hill Dairy Bar for 26 years and then for the Jackson County Veterans Commission for the next 27 years.  She was a past member of the Eastern Star, enjoyed bowling, watching basketball and football on TV.  However, the most important thing was traveling and watching Taylor and Trent play sports.

She is survived by her husband: Ronald Evans; children: Rhonda (Jeff) Hubbard, Lori (Garland) Hafer and Jason (Angie) Evans, grandchildren: Brian Coll, Ian Hubbard, Morgan Hale, Gaven Hale, Taylor Evans and Trent Evans; and great-grandson: Brock Coll.  Also surviving are four step-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Deanne Waulk; and brothers: Robert “Bob” Allen and Johnnie Allen. 

No calling hours will be observed but a memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date with family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Evangelical Christian Church, In Memory Of Nancy Evans, 5104 SR 93, Oak Hill, Ohio 45656.
