Judith Windon

Judith Windon, age 77, of Delaware and formerly of Beavercreek and Oak Hill, passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2020 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio. She was born July 13, 1943 in Oak Hill, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elvin and Zella (Anderson) Jaynes.

Judy worked in the restaurant industry where she retired as a manager at J.R. Valentine’s in Jackson, Ohio.  She was a fun-loving person who loved to spend time with her family in the Great Smokey Mountains.  Judy was an avid reader who enjoyed shopping and cooking.  She took pride in her home and loved hosting her family and friends.  

In her later life, she gave her life to Jesus and was a proud Christian.  

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by nine sisters and one brother.

Judith is survived by her loving daughter, Sally (Jeff) Puckett; beloved grandson, First Lieutenant Jared Puckett; brother, Jerry (Patty) Jaynes; along with numerous, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and her grand-dog, Bailey.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio, where a memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.  Pastor Stan Howard, lifelong friend of Judy’s family, will officiate Judy’s service.
