James P. Bowen Sr., age 84 of Coalton, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020. He was born in Lawrence County, Ohio on May 25, 1936 to the late John and Alice (Kelly) Bowen. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death bu three brothers and eight sisters.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Phyllis (Wilson) Bowen; sons: James P. Jr. and Michael D. Bowen; daughters: Susan Bada and Kathryn (Mike) Line; along with several grandchildren.
James enjoyed reading western novels and watching Sci-Fi movies and t.v.
Per his wishes, no services will be held.
Arrangements are by the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home and Southern Ohio Cremation Services in Jackson.
