Patty Ann (Swaney) Wolford, age 72, of Jackson, passed away at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe on Friday, April 3, 2020. She was born in Jackson, Ohio on Feb. 1, 1948 to the late Oscar Harley Swaney and Blumey Collinsworth Swaney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gene Wolford, and fourteen siblings: Harold Keezee, Percy Keezee, Alfreda Morris, Jack Cruse, Dave Cruse, Don Cruse, Betty Jo Cruse, Jimmy Cruse, Charles Cruse, Bob Cruse, Oscar Harley Swaney, Fred Swaney, Earl Swaney and Merle Mae Swaney.
She is survived by her children: Robert L. (Lori) Wolford, Christopher A. (Tina) Wolford, and Peter A. Wolford (Dreama); 16 grandchildren: Ashley, Robert, Lexi, Brittany, Brennan, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Kerrigan, Dylan, Nate, Brock, Peter Cain, Zane, Madalyn, Conner and Chesney; special friend and sister, Elsie Rouse; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a long-time member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting – making afghans for all of her grandchildren. She always had an open door for anyone in need.
