Ralph Daniel Miller, age 73, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at his home in Jackson. He was born Oct. 1, 1945 in Jackson County, Ohio to Leslie Miller and the late Bernice (Green) Miller.
Ralph was a graduate of Jackson High School. He was a member of Four Mile Christian Church and was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 634.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn (Yerian) Miller; his daughter, Andrea Miller; his father, Leslie Miller; a brother, Robert Frederick (Sharon) Miller; three sisters: Verna Mae Rowland, Ruth Diane Selles, and Rita Jane (Tim) Silvey; his beloved dog, Corky; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Potter.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Larry Boggs officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
