Carol Lee Anderson, age 86, passed away on March 26, 2019 at her residence, leaving behind her beloved husband, Reverend Robert (Bob) Anderson of 34 years and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lee and Maria (Metzler) Bates; two sisters and two brothers.
Carol Lee graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1950 and Rio Grande University in 1961. She taught for many years in Oak Hill at Oak View Elementary School, Central Elementary School and South Elementary School as a first grade teacher.
A funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Timothy Keeton officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deacon Fund of Jackson First Baptist Church, 35 Broadway Street, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
