Chris Coll, age 56, of Jackson, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. He was born on Dec. 20, 1962 to Tim and Mary (Foster) Coll.
Chris was a graduate of Jackson High School in 1981. He loved fishing, football, basketball and spending time with his friends and family; Chris had amazing friends.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandfather, Maurice Coll; grandmothers, Cereta Coll and Alma Coll; grandfather, Ralph Foster and grandmother, Irene Foster.
He is survived by his parents, Tim and Mary Coll; his son, Cory Coll; his brothers, Timothy (Marty) Coll and Brooks Coll; and his sister, Missy (Kevin) Meredith. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 27 from 3 to 8 p.m., with the Rosary Service at 7:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Monday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m., with Father Nic Ventura officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
