Brandon N. Ross, age 30, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Athens, Ohio on Feb. 22, 1988 to the late Kevin J. Ross and Rita “Suzi” Cales, who survives.
In addition to his mother, Brandon is survived by brothers: Derek A. Cales (Jessica) and Jacob L. Ross; grandmother, Sue VanWie; grandfathers, Roy Ross and Roger Cales; his “special father figure,” Mark Musick; and by his beloved dogs, “Jack” and “Peanut.”
Besides his father, Brandon was preceded in death by grandfather, Bob VanWie and grandmother, Peggy Austin Dyson.
Brandon loved the Cleveland Browns, golfing, fishing, fantasy football and working with his dogs. He had the biggest heart of anyone you would ever meet.
The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 5 to 9 p.m., and on Sunday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Real Friends Cemetery at Pattonsville.
