Tami Jo (Norman) Tribby

By | September 24, 2018

Kindhearted. Sweet. Leader. Daddy’s Girl. These are but a few words used to describe Tami Jo (Norman) Tribby, 51, of Jackson, who passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at her home. She was born on Jan. 14, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late John F. Norman, Jr. and Judy A. (Haynes) Sexton, who survives.

Tami was a wonderful person who enjoyed the simple things of life such as watching her favorite television channels: Investigation Discovery and Animal Planet; watching comedy movies, listening to her favorite music from the 50’s and 80’s, and most of all, cooking. Tami was an excellent cook whose specialty was making Thanksgiving dinner for her family. A lover of all animals, especially cats, Tami disliked any form of animal abuse and was constantly caring for and housing strays.

She was an “achiever,” a born leader who always stood ready to help anyone at a moment’s notice. She was a “daddy’s girl” who very much loved and missed him and is now safely reunited with him forever.

In addition to her mother, Judy A. (Carson) Sexton, Tami is survived by her brother, Rick Norman; special aunt, Janet Norman; as well as numerous cousins and several other aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, John F. Norman, Jr., on Nov. 22, 2001.

A funeral service celebrating Tami’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, with Pastor Rick Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow in Coalton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. Please visit www.rmwilliamsfuneralservice.com to leave a message of encouragement, comfort, condolence, or to share a special memory or to view Tami’s online video tribute.
