Valeri Jean Myers

Valeri Jean Myers, age 49 of Jackson, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on July 31, 1969 to Clark Boggs and the late Linda (Tilley) Kellough. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 24 years, James P. Myers; sons, James D. and Thomas C. Myers; grandmother, Valeri J. Lewis, along with brothers and sisters: Melissa Boggs, Krista Moore, Mika Holbert, Beth Lowman and Jessie Kellough; aunts and uncles: Doris and Darrell Tilley, Roger and Carma Donaldson, Bob and Diana Adkins, and Larry Tilley. Valeri was preceded in death by her mother, Linda (Tilley) Kellough.

She was a “scout mother” – not only for her sons, but for many others in Troops 48 & 57 at the Chief Logan Boy Scount Camp. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and a wonderful mother and wife. Funeral services will be held at the Calvary United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 11th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Hogue officiating.

Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Friday, August 10th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
