Bennie L. Baisden, age 79 of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born April 12, 1939 in West Virginia to the late Wayne and Arizona (Amburgy) Baisden.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Jane Baisden; brothers: Irvin, Minor, Dennie and Jerry Baisden; and a sister, Shirley Kisor.
He is survived by his son, Tim (Diana) Baisden of Wellston, Ohio; daughters: Wanda Albert of Dade City, Florida and Brenda Baisden of Jackson, Ohio; one granddaughter, Crystal (Chris) Helgerson of Peyton, Colorado; along with many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Bennie worked construction most of his life. He loved motorcycle riding, traveling and building things for others. He always filled the room with smiles and laughter.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at the Baisden Cemetery in Glenroy. The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
