Donna J. Phillips, age 69, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. She was born Feb. 9, 1949 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania to the late James Franklin Reed and Ella Bell Yeager Reed.
Donna was a former employee of the Wellston City Schools, where she worked as an assistant cook. Following retirement, Donna loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching her favorite soap operas on television.
She is survived by her daughters, Ella Lesher of Wellston and Christina Phillips of Wellston; grandchildren, Zach, Colt, Kamen, Jayla and Shaylee; great-grandchildren, Adalynn and Sawyer; sisters, Ruby Butler and Lucille Wayne; brothers, Richard Reed, Charles Reed and Clark Reed; along with several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes, her body was cremated. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Palestine, West Virginia. Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
