Meleisa Joy Miller

Meleisa Joy Miller (“Leisa”), age 61, of Oak Hill, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on March 16, 1957 to Robert and Ellen Canter of Oak Hill, who survive.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 23 years, Bruce Miller; children, Robert Thomas Clark and Keri Ellen Clark-Dunn (Jason), both of Oak Hill; grandsons, Grady and Griffin Dunn, of Oak Hill and Kameron Thomas Clark, of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Robin (Pat) McGoon and Vonda (Keith) Adkins, both of Oak Hill and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, church family, a large group of friends and best friend, Donita Grashel, of South Webster.

Leisa graduated from Oak Hill in 1975 and worked at Centrus Energy (formerly the Atomic Plant) for 39 years. She enjoyed being surrounded by her grandkids and family. Leisa was a devoted Christian and attended the Old Country Church Tabernacle, where she played the piano.

Friends may call Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Friends may call again Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Old Country Church Tabernacle from 1 to 2 p.m. with funeral services starting at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bryon Carmon and Rev.
