Linda Lou Walker, age 69, of Jackson, passed away suddenly Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at her home in Jackson. She was born March 17, 1948 in Jackson to the late Harold and Laura (Oiler) Siders.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jimmy Walker, of Jackson; brothers-in-law, Tom Walker, of Las Vegas, Dave (Teresa) Walker, Marysville, Bob Walker, of Evansville IN, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Esther Musick, Mary Channell and Larry Siders; and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Walker and sister-in-law, Patty Crabtree.
Linda loved her great-nieces and great-nephews who called her “Ninny.” She loved her dog, “Shorty.” She enjoyed genealogy research and touring local cemeteries to try to gather information.
Friends may call Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Russ Strange officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
