Faye Louise McPherson

Faye Louise McPherson, age 85, of Jackson, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 1st, 1932 in Princeton, West Virginia to the late Mack and Eva (Quessenberry) Osborne.

Faye is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clarence “Arnold” McPherson, of Jackson; sons, David (Becki) McPherson, of New Marshfield, Ohio and Michael (Gloria) McPherson, of Jackson; granddaughters, Linda McPherson, Kelly (Jeff) McCall, Beth Jaimeson and Cassidy (Nathan Johnson) McPherson; great granddaughters, Hannah Walker, Lauren McCall, Ava McCall, Lizzie Bell Jones and Isabella Jaimeson and great grandson, Jacob Jaimeson. Also surviving are brothers, Junior (Louise) Osborne, John (Bud) Osborne, Elmer (Marilyn) Osborne, Tom (Gwen) Osborne and Frank (Rose) Osborne; sisters, Maxine (Gene) Olsen, Margaret Smith, Jean Green and Shirley Ellis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki McPherson; sisters, Joyce Dobbins and Ruth Dudley; a brother, J.D. David Osborne; and a sister-in-law, Delia Osborne.

Faye was a housewife and mother, she was the secretary at Lick Local School and also was an E.M.T. with S.E.O.M.S. Faye loved traveling with her husband. They traveled all over the U.S. and even drove their motor home to Alaska. A favorite destination was Big Bend in Texas. She was a bowler, a square dancer and she loved to crochet.

Friends may call Monday, February 12, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Queen officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
