James Edward “Jim” Wilson

James Edward “Jim” Wilson, age 74, of Wellston, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born Oct. 28, 1943 in Berlin, Ohio to the late Rex A. Wilson and Lenora Lois McDaniel.

Jim was a 1961 graduate of Wellston High School and a veteran of the United States Army, who served during the Vietnam era. He retired from the Wellston City Schools, where he was a school bus driver for 30 years. Jim was a member of the American Legion Post 371 of Wellston and he took great pride in helping others.

Jim is survived by several cousins and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Chatfield Wilson, and his sister, Norma Jane McDaniel.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. with Rev. Keith Fulton officiating.
