Emma Lou (Duncan, Campbell, Drake) Blackburn, age 76, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at home after a short illness. She was born May 25, 1941 to the late Ed and Evelyn Duncan of Jackson, Ohio.

She is survived by four children: Carol McGinnis, Keith (Donna) Campbell, Bob (Tammy) Campbell, and Tony (Brenda Willis) Drake, all of Jackson, Ohio; siblings: Tom Duncan of Dayton, Ohio, Mike (Jody) Duncan of Columbus, Ohio, Mark Duncan of Jackson, Ohio, and Darlene (John) Carper of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren: Crystal (Tim Harrison) Zinn and Robert (Jamie Moore) Campbell, Jr. of Jackson, Ohio and Tiffany (Daniel) Drake of Columbus, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren: Brianna and Scotty Zinn, Hannah and Allison Campbell, and Catalina, Grace, and Sofia Drake; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Blackburn; sister, Elaine Vititoe, and son, Jamie Dean Drake.

Lou (as she was known to friends) worked for 35 years for Jackson City Schools as a bus driver and janitor. She also drove for DAV for many years. She loved to fish, camp, play bingo, travel, and garden. She was a devoted family person. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Perry Bradford officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
