Jerry Allen Barnhill, age 27, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017. He was born Jan. 19, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio.
Allen was a 2008 graduate of Wellston High School, where he was a member of the WHS Wrestling Team and was honored for his wrestling abilities. Allen’s idol was none other than WWE wrestler, Shawn Michaels. Along with wrestling, Allen enjoyed and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Lebron James. He will be missed by all.
Allen is survived by his parents, Steven B. Jackson and Lisa Rena Barnhill Jackson; two sons, Jayden Leonard, age 6 and Jerry Barnhill, Jr., age 3; girlfriend, Kristyn Leonard; brother, William Lykins; grandparents, Lloyd and Shelby Jackson and Bill Harrington; uncle, James Barnhill; along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins and his dog, Noisy.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Faye Barnhill; brother, Brandon Barnhill; and uncle, Jerry Barnhill.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where the funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. with Pastor Maurice Napper officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
