Gayla “Gator” (Coleman) Browning

Gayla “Gator” (Coleman) Browning, age 45, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Monday, Aug. 28, 2017 after a heroic battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 15, 1972 in Logan, Ohio to Rosalind (Coffey) Lowe and the late Jesse Coleman.

She is survived by her mother, Rosalind Lowe; husband, Danny Browning; daughter, Desiree Browning; four sisters: Lisa Coffey, Regina Coleman, Jessica (Ron) Nicolson, and Kaylena Coleman; one brother, James (Jessica) Coleman; as well as several uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Pansy Coleman and mother and father-in-law, Dan Sr. and Judith Browning.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. The family will share memories immediately after at 7 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillumfh.com
