Rhoda Eileen Deems, age 57, of Thurman, Ohio passed away Friday August 25, 2017 at her home. She was born on April 30, 1960 in Holden, West Virginia to Rosalee L. (Evans) Baisden and the late Bill E. Curry.
In addition to her mother, Rhoda is survived by two daughters, Terri (Brian) Miller and Tonya (David) Lucas; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Blazer, Ryan Lucas and Christina Lucas; one sister, Della (Roy) Hebebrand; one brother, Bobby Curry; two step sisters, Sandy Ramos and Grace Baisden; one step brother, Weldon Baisden and lots of family and friends.
In addition to her father, Rhoda is preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Deems and stepfather, Lewis Baisden.
Friends may call Monday, August 28, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the funeral home with minister Debbie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Vega Cemetery.
