Wendell Williams

Wendell W. Williams, age 76, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born Nov. 28, 1940 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Dwight and Marie Kuhn Williams. He graduated from Ohio University and was a retired industrial engineer from the United States Enrichment Corporation in Piketon, Ohio.

He is survived by his sons, Randy (Jenny) Williams and Dustin Williams (Andy Oppy); mother-in-law, Wilma Dixon; brothers, Charles (Deanna) Williams and Wayne Williams; grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Reagan and Jalen, and great-granddaughter, Willow June Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn Williams; son, Stephen Williams and infant sister, Dolly Mae Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Vermillion officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the Jackson Chapter 45 Disabled American Veterans. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. Saturday up to the time of the funeral at noon.
