Rebecca “Becky” Jean Goheen, 57, of Wellston, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born on Aug. 20, 1959 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Herb and Mable (Rowland) Goheen.

Becky was a very strong woman who endured many hardships throughout her life, but never lost her sense of humor and ability to place others before herself. With cigarette and Pepsi in hand, she could be found at the ballfields where she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play or at her home spending time with her family and friends. She loved having a good time, and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving family: son, Judd (Lindsay) Meacham; grandchildren: Jarrett and Baylee Meacham, sister-in-law, Belinda Price; special nephew, Matthew Gilliland; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Price, and sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Paul Bowling.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 West Broadway St., Wellston. A graveside service celebrating Becky’s life will be on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Limerick Cemetery where Becky will be laid to rest near her mother.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given in Becky’s name to R.M. Williams Funeral Service, P.O. Box 654, Wellston, Ohio 45692 to help with funeral expenses.
