Jeremy Robert Griffith, age 40, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at his home. He was born April 27, 1976 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Kenneth C. Griffith and Susan E. DePue Griffith.
Jeremy was a 1996 graduate of Wellston High School. He was a lineman and former foreman for PLS Power Lines and MasTec. Jeremy enjoyed fishing, watching football on TV, as well as the Wellston Golden Rockets, and he was an avid NASCAR fan. Above all, he cherished the time that he spent with his family and friends.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Kenny and Susie Griffith of McArthur; his three children, Blake, Maycee and Koltyn Griffith; sister, Jody Griffith of Wellston; nieces and nephew, Kassandra, Bryson and Tori, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Marie Griffith May, and his grandparents, Oscar and Mary Griffith and Earl and Deloris DePue.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Barry Benson officiating. Burial will follow in the Elk Cemetery in McArthur. For those who wish, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the McWilliams Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
