Anna Marie Kimbel, age 76, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017 at her home. She was born Sept. 11, 1940 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Kermit P. Evans and Ella Marie Hamilton Evans. Anna Marie was a 1958 graduate of Wellston High School. She retired from the First National Bank of Wellston, where she was employed for 36 years. For over 20 years, Anna Marie enjoyed motorcycle riding, along with her husband, Bill, where together they rode through 48 states, Mexico and seven Canadian Provinces.
She is survived by her husband, William C. “Bill” Kimbel; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Rusty Ballinger of Huntington, W. Va. and Kendra and David Shotts of Wellston; grandchildren, Karie Shotts, David Shotts (Lindsey) and Alisha Eberts (Andrew); great-grandchild, Kace Andrew; sister, Sandra Evans of Wellston; brothers, Jack Bruce (Rita) of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Kermit Evans (Linda) of Rochester, New York, and Jim Evans of Lebanon, Ohio, as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Besides her parents, Anna Marie was preceded in death by her brothers, Sonny Bruce and Dean Bruce.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.
