Peggy Joyce Coleman, age 73, of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at Brookdale Pinnacle in Grove City, Ohio. She was born January 1, 1943 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late George and Hazel (Miller) Coleman.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Robyn (David) Seif; grandson, Justin Bowser; siblings: John Coleman, Brenda (Roger) Exline, Sue (Glenn) Edminston, Linda (Gary) Johnson, Georgie Coleman, and Margaret Johnson; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Miller; and two brothers, Earl and Doug Coleman.
Peggy was a graduate of Jackson High School, Class of 1961. She worked as a legal secretary for many years in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area and retired there. She was also a proud member of the Eastern Stars.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Byer Cemetery.
